Nylon 6/6 is an extruded polyamide that exhibits exceptional wear resistance along with good machinability. Nylon 6/6 is quite rigid and will hold tolerances well against temperature change, impact, and chemical exposure. PA 6/6 will however absorb water so when using that is something to look out for.
